    Frequently asked questions by candidates

    The first step is to review the documents you’ve submitted, including your CV and job description, if available. At RPC we value every candidate, so you’ll receive updates throughout the process to keep you informed.

    Our aim is to contact suitable candidates as quickly as possible. Holidays may extend this time to 2 weeks.

    The informal environment is part of our culture and so is the dress code. There are some situations or positions where more formal dress is expected, depending on the circumstances or role.

    If your profile matches our requirements, our HR colleague will contact you for an initial call. This call isn’t just about us assessing you; we encourage you to ask questions and clarify any concerns you may have.

    You’ll be given basic information about RPC, our services, our culture and our team. If both parties are happy, we’ll move on to an interview with a hiring manager and possibly another team member.

    Our interview format is adaptable and can take place in teams or face-to-face at our Bratislava office. We do our best to keep the process to a minimum, but at the same time we want to get to know you to see if it will work for both parties. Depending on the situation, there may be tests or additional meetings. 

    Candidates are advised to dress comfortably and appropriately for the position. A business dress code is not required, but beach style is not recommended.

    References from previous employers and a clear criminal record are essential. This is due to the nature of our business and being a reliable and trustworthy partner. If you have them, attach them to your CV. If you don’t, you’ll need them later, so we recommend you get them now. 

    If you have no work experience, references are not required.

    You will attend welcome days at our offices to get an overview of our processes and tools. You’ll join your team under the guidance of a buddy.

    As our business is very specific, all newcomers will also undergo card training during their first few months at RPC, so you will be familiar with card terminology and understand the basics. Your objectives will be set by your manager for the probationary period and beyond.

    Your development is important. After your initial training, you can explore internal courses at the RPC Academy. Talk to us about external training or certification to develop your role.

    You can choose from popular courses and training such as ISTQB, SpeakUp, ITIL, Authentic Leadership, online platforms such as Seduo, Skillmea, Udemy and expert HQ training.
